Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How long will it take?
Plan on spending half a day with us. The plane ride and skydive takes 20 minutes but we need ample time for paperwork, training with your instructor and potentially weather.
Q: Can I wear my prescription glasses?
We do have goggles that fit over most glasses, however; there have been times when both have come off during the skydive. Bring a spare pair of glasses for when you land, just in case!
Or if you have contact lenses, that is the best option.
Q: Can I bring friends to watch me?
Yes! There is an area for spectators to wait near the landing area. They will be able to see you before and after your skydive. We kindly ask that you leave all pets at home.
Q: Can I bring a Go-Pro on my skydive?
No. The USPA has strict regulations on who is allowed to jump with any camera device. You must have a minimum of 200 skydives to have a camera in free-fall.
Q: What should I wear?
Dress in seasonably comfortable clothing and bring layers. In the winter, wear pants, a sweatshirt, and also bring gloves. For summer, shorts and t-shirt are best. No open toed shoes, flip flops, sandals, or hard heeled boots.
Due to COVID and new policies, at this time we will not be providing jumpsuits for tandem customers.
Q: What are the age limitations?
You must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit as long as you are healthy and have no physical or health restrictions. We ask that over age 75 you get a doctor's recommendation.
Q: Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately not. Much like other outdoor recreational activities such as golf, pets are best left at home.
Q: Will I get a helmet to wear?
A soft frap hat can be provided upon request.
Q: Is there a safe place for my things?
We have lockers available for you to put items in that you do not want with you on your skydive such as jewelry, cell-phones and wallets.
Q: Will I be able to breathe in free-fall?
Yes. You will feel like you have a strong wind in your face but you will be able to breathe.
Q: How high do we jump from?
Weather permitting, you will jump from the plane at 13,000 ft above ground level.
Q: How fast will we fall?
Average speeds are 120mph. This is about 200ft per second. The dive will last about 50 secs.
Q: What should I bring with me to jump?
Be sure to bring a valid government issued photo ID. You will not be allowed to jump without it. If you have a Military or Student ID, be sure to bring it since we do offer a discount with your ID.
Q: What type of payment do you accept?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex or cash. We have an ATM located on site.
