Frequently Asked Questions For Tandem Jumps
CLICK HERE for ASP or other FAQ

Q. What time should I arrive for my reservation?

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in. The reservation is a start time of our process and not a jump time.  When you arrive, you will watch a safety briefing video and complete the Tandem Assumption of Risk Agreement. Plan half your day with us.

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me?

You must bring a valid Government issued Photo ID in order to jump.  You will also need to bring your insurance information.  If you do not have medical insurance, there is a place you will need to sign on the Tandem Assumption of Risk Agreement. If you have a student, military, or first responder ID, we do offer a discount.

Q: What should I wear?

Dress in seasonably comfortable clothing and bring layers.  In the winter, wear pants, a sweatshirt, and also bring gloves.  For summer, shorts and t-shirt are best.  No open toed shoes, flip flops, sandals, or hard heeled boots.

If you have long hair, it is best braided or placed in a pony tail holder.
Jumpsuits for tandem customers available only by request..

Q: Is it ok to eat before making a skydive?

It is recommended to have a small meal an hour before jumping.

We also recommend to drink plenty of water, especially during the hotter months, to stay hydrated.

Consumption of alcohol or drugs is prohibited! If sobriety is in question, we have the right to refuse service.

Q: What are the age limitations?

You must be at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit as long as you are healthy and have no physical or health restrictions. We ask that over age 75 you get a doctor's recommendation.

Q: What are the weight limitations?

Men over 220 lbs. and women over 200 lbs. will require instructor approval to jump based on height, weight, body shape, and overall health. Please call for further details. (520) 466-3753

Q: How long will it take?

Time spent here varies day to day. Once you are with the instructor you will get your training for the jump. From there you will head to the airplane which takes about 20 minutes to get to altitude. When you jump out you will land 3-5 minutes later. If you purchase media, it will be emailed to you 15 minutes after you land.

Q: Can I wear my prescription glasses?

We do have goggles that fit over most glasses, however; there have been times when both have come off during the skydive. Bring a spare pair of glasses for when you land, just in case!

Or if you have contact lenses, that is the best option.

Q: Can I bring friends to watch me?

Yes! There is an area for spectators to wait near the landing area. They will be able to see you before and after your skydive. We kindly ask that you leave all pets at home.

Q: Can I bring a Go-Pro on my skydive?

No. The USPA has strict regulations on who is allowed to jump with any camera device. You must have a minimum of 200 skydives to have a camera in free-fall.

Q: Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately No. Much like other outdoor recreational activities such as golf, pets are best left at home.

Q: Will I get a helmet to wear?

A soft frap hat can be provided upon request.

Q: How high do we jump from?

Weather permitting, you will jump from the plane at 13,000 ft above ground level.

Q: How fast will we fall?

Average speeds are 120mph. This is about 200ft per second. The dive will last about 50 secs.

Q: Is there a safe place for my things?

We have lockers available for you to put items in that you do not want with you on your skydive such as jewelry, cell-phones and wallets.

Q: Will I be able to breathe in free-fall?

Yes. You will feel like you have a strong wind in your face but you will be able to breathe.

Q: What if there are weather issues?

If we are not able to jump due to the weather, we will notify you as soon as possible.  Jumps can be rescheduled. If rescheduling is not an option, we will issue you a refund.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex or cash.  We have an ATM located on site.
